Free Eye Surgical Camp 2082 Restoring Sight, Restoring Hope: Mithila Sewa Foundation's Vision Campaign
In the year 2082 B.S., the Mithila Sewa Foundation marked a significant milestone in its ongoing humanitarian mission. Working in close collaboration with the local government and Sunaina Eye Hospital, the foundation successfully launched a specialized, free cataract surgery initiative that restored the vision of nearly 70 underprivileged, Dalit, and highly vulnerable senior citizens aged 60 and above.
This collaborative effort highlights the incredible impact of joint public-private-community partnerships. By combining municipal support with the advanced clinical expertise of Sunaina Eye Hospital and the grassroots reach of the foundation, we were able to deliver life-changing healthcare directly to those who need it most.
For the beneficiaries of this campaign, the gift of sight represents much more than a successful medical intervention—it is a restoration of personal independence, safety, and everyday dignity. For many who had spent years navigating the limitations of visual impairment, this procedure marks the beginning of a brighter, self-reliant future.
