My Story & Vision I founded the Mithila Sewa Foundation with a singular, deeply personal mission: to uplift the most marginalized, underprivileged, and vulnerable communities in our region. Witnessing the struggles of families who lacked basic healthcare, dignity, and opportunities, I realized that lasting change required structured, passionate, and grassroots-level action. As the Executive Director, I guide our strategic vision, oversee our impact programs, and foster key collaborations with local government bodies, healthcare institutions, and global supporters. From restoring sight to senior citizens to championing menstrual hygiene and women's empowerment, my goal is to build sustainable systems of care and support. Why This Work Matters to Me For me, every successful cataract surgery and every educational hygiene campaign is a step toward social equity. Seeing the smiles of elderly beneficiaries regaining their independence or young girls continuing their education with dignity is the greatest reward. I believe that through collaborative public-private-community partnerships, we can dismantle the barriers of poverty and health inequality.
